Bio-Curcumin Advanced® with BCM95® contains a standardised extract of Boswellia serrata containing a rich supply of AKBA and other beneficial boswellic acids but minimal β-boswellic acids. AKBA (or 3-Acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid) has been shown to be the most potent anti-inflammatory component of Boswellia, whereas β-boswellic acids may exacerbate or compound the effects of pro-inflammatory enzymes. It, therefore, makes sense to consider supplementation rich in AKBA which is free from β-boswellic acids for the purpose of reducing pain and inflammation. AKBAMAX® is a proven antioxidant and is known to support the maintenance of healthy joints.

Ingredients

BCM-95® Curcuma longa L. (turmeric) extract                           250 mg
[rhizome, 25:1 extract standardised to total curcuminoid complex 95 % with essential oils of turmeric rhizome]
AKBAMAX® Boswellia serrata L. extract                                     250 mg
[standardised to boswellic acids 45 % and AKBA 10 %]

Other ingredients include Organic Nu-Rice® in a clear vegetable capsule.

Contains no known allergens, no sugar or gluten, no artificial flavours or preservatives.

A note of caution

Avoid if hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients or if you have bile duct obstruction.
