Bentonite clay is composed of mineral-rich volcanic ash. It absorbs toxins, heavy metals, and other impurities. It can be used on the skin to clear blackheads and acne and to draw excess oil from the skin. It calms down irritated skin and has a gentle exfoliating action. Bentonite clay can be taken internally as part of a detoxification plan and to ease stomach and gut issues.

A note of caution:

If you have an existing medical condition, speak to your doctor before taking bentonite clay orally. Not to be taken by pregnant women and the elderly. 

Instructions:

Take one tablespoon of bentonite clay in a glass of warm water. Do not use a metal spoon.  It must be taken at least two hours away from food and medication.
