Vitamin B-12 (cobalamin) is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for a healthy nervous system and energy production from fats and proteins.* Vitamin B-12 is also essential for DNA synthesis during cell division and therefore is especially important for rapidly multiplying cells, such as blood cells.* While B-12 is stored in the liver, dietary sources are of animal origin (meat and dairy). Therefore, strict vegans and vegetarians must supplement with vitamin B-12. This product provides vitamin B-12 in three forms, including the two readily available and activated co-enzyme forms, methylcobalamin and dibencozide.
